Began the day excited to get after one of my favorite Girl Wod’s but after going through the warmup my body said HELL NO! Realized that I needed a recovery day so, I spent the rest of class doing mobility and then did a 2K recovery row 9:40….a little fast for recovery but felt good to at least break a sweat.

Did make up Strength work on strict press. My 1RM strict press last year was 75 got that for 5 reps – can’t wait to see what my new 1RM is for strict.
Diane was pretty tough for me. I struggle with pushups and find them extremely frustrating. Thanks for the help, Sarah. Guess I know what I’ll be doing for a goat wod 🙂
Today (well, yesterday) I worked on dubs for once. Sarah and Duane helped me and I got 6 unbroken! That was great.
Diane: 7:13 w/1 abmat BHSPU and 125#. This was over a minute improvement from the last time I did Diane and the HSPU’s were definitely more challenging (I probably had 2 abmats) and 20# heavier. I didn’t know until I checked my little chart in my phone. I’m glad I went–I had a great WOD. Thanks Sarah and everyone!
