WOD- 14:50 with 26lb KB and I scaled the pull-ups to 10 Kipping pull-ups.
Although I’ve done Helen in the past with different modifications on the pull-ups and got much much faster times, I was proud of this one because I went unbroken on all rounds for the KBs and only did Kipping pull-ups. Those pull-ups took me awhile, but I got through them- thanks for the encouragement 6am!!! It’s definitely never about how fast or how long a WOD takes me, it’s knowing I tried my best, about my personal growth, and the satisfaction I feel even with small improvements. This was a nice way to start the week, thank you!

Running was not option – need to let my knees rest from the little bit of running on Friday. Realized that I was not wearing the best shoes for running and will not make that mistake again. I want to run but I have to be smart about it. I have two pairs of Sprints 2.0 on their way to help with this! Love that discount PJ!!!!
Next time I do KB I need to get heavier. This was a bit too easy but I have never done anything heavier than the purple one – which is not labeled so I don’t know how heavy it is. Note taken!
Big weekend of buying some smaller sizes – including work out wear. Since I still have to shop at Lane Bryant I have the pleasure of hearing them say that it is nice that their gear is making it to a gym…most of it is just worn at Walmart!!!! NICE! Still trying to get a couple of ladies at the store to try CFRT before I don’t need to shop there anymore…and I am getting close!!

I was sick all weekend. Having a cold in the summertime is the worst! 🙁 I miss CFRT and want to come back! Last time i went though, I thought I was better and it only got worse. :S I don’t want to get anyone sick either. Hope to see you all sooner rather than later!

First time doing Helen. Everything felt great except for my pull ups. It seems lately when I focus on certain movements, the other movements suffer. I couldn’t link any pull ups today nor my toes to bar yesterday. Just a little frustrated but I’ll just shake it off. Happy I finished right at 13:00. Huge 6pm class good job everyone!

Some days the pull ups aren’t there but you made up for it with super fast singles!!
