Have a great day everyone!
Not making it in to WOD today so I tried out Monday’s WOD from home.

Knocked 16 seconds off my time from July.

Thx PJ – great work 5 am.
Enjoy the day.
Rest day. Had to give my hands a break.

Mirthmobile – 18:09 (55, 65, 75) I loved this WOD and want to re-do it when I’m back to normal strength and can move some real weight.
Another day of small, but mighty, all stars.
Fun warming up with the traveling whiteboard.
Great class coach PJ!!
First of all, thank you so much for the birthday wishes and for the WOD pic, it’s one of my faves of Joe and I! Ty!!!
WOD- got 22:20. Loved the WOD, and I couldn’t have done it without the encouraging words and support of PJ, Lori, Derrick, and Janet this morning at 6am class! Amazing how much heavier the weight feels in a wod, lol! Used 85lbs for the push jerks, 95lbs for the power cleans, and 105lbs for the front squats. I scaled to 300m for the run to maintain a high stimulus.
Thanks Coach and 6amers!
Love it!
You were so awesome! The weight showed on your face and you just kept pushing…and you got it done! Loved the look on your face when you finished and I said you did it…and you said YES I DID!!!
Thank you Lori!

My body is still asking what the **** happened to it this morning. Thanks for the accurate explanation of how I was feeling PJ. And a HUGE thank you to the 5amers (and lingering 6amers) that got me through those last brutal reps!!! That was rough… Good work everyone!
Sounds like you did it right Olivia! π
I might have asked PJ if I should drop the FS weight after a couple reps (secretly hoping he said yes)… of course he said no. That was a tough but fun WOD, definitely got fitter this morning!!!
Feeling a little beat up today, so I came in and did the warm-up & mobility, but decided that a gentle run might be a better choice for me today. I’ll get my jump roping in later at work, and perhaps a WOD if I’m feeling up to it.
Nice work 9:30! From what it sounds like you killed it!

Should have gone up in weight – I get afraid and I end up not pushing myself enough… Feels like a wasted workout.
Oh well, tomorrow I will do better! π
Nothing’s a wasted workout! Good job on the weight you did, and now you know next time you can go higher in weights. It’s all a learning process! Good job
Well said Judy
Exactly what Judy said. Never wasted.
You moved weight around and ran for over 12 minutes. Be proud!
Thanks guys! You made me feel better!! AND you are right – nothing is wasted – just something I can improve upon. π
Our warm up was definitely other people’s work out…especially those sit ups! But it was fun because of the traveling whiteboard. We turned around after 10 air squats and BAM there’s the whiteboard!
“Mirthmobile” 14:27
35#/45#/15# PLATE SQUAT
BUT THE BIG NEWS…was I ran 200/300/400! I wanted to earn my fitness. I couldn’t get heavier on the weights because of my elbow so I tried to make it up on the run. First time I have run that much at CFRT! Can’t say it felt good…it hurt and my body was whining…just told it to shut up and run!
Would love to do this one again when I can lift and run!
Thanks All Stars!!! Thanks PJ!
Ended up chatting with the lady at the cleaners about joining CFRT. She has seen me at the box and wanted to know about crossfit. She may be checking it out soon. She figured if I can do it she has no excuse! That’s right!!!!
Inspiring people always!! Nice job on the running, super excited for you!
Right back at ya Liz! You are doing great. Love seeing how strong you getting. Wish we could WOD together some time – have to figure that one out!
Ammmmmaazzzinnnnggg Lori! I loved that you rang the bell today! Running in the rain, pushing your body, and getting over the mental hurdles… You did awesome today! Everyday you do, and it’s very inspiring!
WOD
16:35
135/155/175
This was tough one. The jerks gave me a run for my money. i need to get better at receiving the bad back to the rack position. Weights I used worked well. Don’t think I could have gone any heavier. Nice work 930!
“Mirthmobile” – 12:45 (135, 155, 175)
What a great Wod and we got a little wet.
PJ, I hope you appreciated my Patriots colors, double or nothing for game 2.
Great job 5am.
Mirth Mobile: 12:59
Push jerks @ 53# (could’ve gone heavier)
Power cleans @ 73#
Front squats @ 73# (this used to be my 1RM, so can’t wait to retest!)
Great job 4:30!
Rest day.
5am WOD! Always pumped for the morning class! I was very happy for FL weather and that the rain held out!
13:49 #55, #65, #85
Could up the anty on the first two movements but glad I know now! Love that I’m getting stronger, it’s such a good feeling! Thanks to PJ for alway setting the bar to challenge myself.
Loved watching Olivia kickass today-really set a good bar of toughness and getting through without worrying about the clock. Keeps me in check for when I am nervous to challenge myself.
Mirthmobile – 14:42 65/85/85
Such a fun Wod! I felt like I could have done more on the jerks but I was dead for the front squats, the 95 I loaded up may has well been 200. It was killah! Can’t wait to do this one again… And more like it… π
It was just Henry and I at the 6pm (and an appearance by Lucy) but we pushed through and got it done. Thanks, Sarah, for an awesome class!
Have a great night everyone
Weights will feel heavy for a bit. Only a week and a half or so out from the comp so it’s to be expected. Doing great though! Next week should start to feel more normal.

The front squats got pretty spicy at the end. I loved this Wod. Unreal work this morning by the 5am! Thank you Pj.
“Mirth mobile”- 16:01. (#55,#65,#75). I actually loved this WOD! Running is always a challenge but I am pushing myself. I think am finally beginning to get the whole concept of shrugging with fast elbows! Thank you 5am, thanks for coaching PJ.
Rest day!
“Mirth mobile”- 16:01.
(#55,#65, #75). I agree with everybody else, I actually loved this WOD. Running is always a challenge but I am trying to push myself. My brain is finally getting the concept of “shrugging” and “fast elbows” for Power cleans. Great work 0500am, thanks for coaching PJ!

The power clean was hard for me today for some reason, but Sarah was right there and helped me, I took a few second and went back and I did it, I felt Iike I could go a little heavier on my front squat, but didn’t fell like I could clean more than 75#.
I liked this Wod
Thanks Sarah for great coaching π
Good job 9:30amers
Really pushed myself today weight wise. Which made my time a little longer but in the end felt good to go heavier than normal. Cleans were feeling really good thanks to coach Sarah!!
Time: 18:40 135/155/135
Could not make it in today. Did a late night travel WOD:
#7: 20 Rounds For Time:
5 Pushups, 5 Squats, 5 Situps
I capped myself at 14:00 and completed 15 rounds. This is the first time I have done anything with my knees since my injury last Saturday. I didn’t go too deep and it was ok.
The rest of the challenge is going well. I feel like I am definitely in the groove.
First WOD in nearly 3 weeks. First WOD post-comp. Ouch.
Scaled back the runs to 200M
85# push jerk, 105# power cleans, 95# front squats. Probably could have gone a little heavier but first WOD back wanted to be smart and I knew the runs would hurt…which they did!

Mirthmobile WOD
16:18
95/115/115
Still struggling with proper form on the clean but felt pretty good with the push jerks.
13:12 using 75, 95, 105. Perfect scale – awesome wod!
Sore all over. 14:45, 65/85/65 hips feeling less sore each week
