Not really sure why I used the 10# wall ball, should have def. used at least the 12# if not the 14#. I used the 10# in the warm up and clearly just never switched it out.

OLY – I forgot to right down the weights…I think I ended on 65#. I don’t usually squat clean…but when I do…I surprise myself!

When we were going over the movements I realized I didn’t write down the snatches on my whiteboard…oops. But of course I did them. I tried an OHS with the 35# and got one before the WOD but since I have not done this in a WOD I added a 15# bar option if I was unable to do it with the 35# for 10. I tried and failed so I did the OHS with 15. Which meant I could have gone heavier on the snatches. Oh well. That’s why I post on line and keep a journal. Next time I will know.

Something in my left arm/shoulder has been annoying me for a few weeks. It comes and goes. The only thing that suffers from it is my snatches. I can’t get heavier weight up; must be the wider grip. Once it’s up, it’s OK. So the snatches were OK, but the OHS were pretty good.
On a bright note, I have a goal of 10 unbroken 12# wall balls by July 4th. Used the 12# for the warm-up and only no-repped myself twice. Better than I thought. Should have used the 12# for the WOD – next time maybe π

Worked up to 225# felt strong once I focused on my form. If I found that sweet spot in my form earlier I felt I could have gone heavier something to work towards for sure

All movements felt good OHS got a little spicy for me bc my feet were out to far need to keep them under me more so I can sit back in my squat.

Totally forgot to check my time when I finished the wod, Cayte said I finished right around when she did so 8:4something? 8# WB, 45 snatches and OHS, 10 ring rows. I really liked this wod. I was a little nervous about the med ball clean wall balls but they went pretty smoothly I think.
