Cold War: 10/10 – that was the plan.
Got all 10 burpees, but the cals went from 8 – 11 – slow transitions on and off the rower.
I found the perfect JYD partner – Nicole! She’s very low to the ground 🙂 🙂 And just when I thought the warm-up was over – we suicided sprinted!!

Worked up to 145# – which is a 5# PR. Didn’t notice the weight until after! 🙂
Cold War – 15,15,9,10,10,10/12 cals
I couldn’t keep up with the burpees, my quads were fried by round 3. A mentally challenging WOD in the sense I wanted to give up! But, I did what I could and managed to keep up with the row and get some rest after those rounds (thank goodness).
5am seriously crushed it!! Thank you Monsini for the excellent instruction!!

Yikes! Tough one tonight. The humidity was not forgiving. 8 burpees/6 cal row. Pretty consistant on the first 4 rounds, last two were closer to 40 sec. work.
Started with some front squats. Actually felt ok, I think it’s been a while since I’ve done front squats…again.

WOD = 15 / 13 Once heavy into rounds my average time to spare between rounds was ( 10-15 sec ) Loved this workout even though it sucked and I was drooling ,sweating and talking to myself last 2 rounds ,,lol

That was grueling. My lack of good rowing technique really caught up with me quickly on this one. I had no power from my legs on the last couple of rows and I had zero time between the rows and burpees the last 3 rounds. I definitely want to see this one again though so I can try and improve on last night’s score.
