WOD – 7:14, took 4 seconds off my last time. Felt like I could have pushed a bit more throughout, stayed around 1:50 for the first 1500 and should try to improve that next time.
26# on the figure 8, wanted to keep it light today.
Nice work 6am, thanks PJ!
WOD: 7:16, a 20sec drop from the first test.
Kept it around 1:47 for the first 1000m, then fell apart for about 200m in the 3rd section. Brought it hard for the last 500m.
35# on the Figure 8. The legs were trashed after the 2k… so I kept it easy.
Way to bring it hard, 5am. Thanks PJ.
WOD: 7:20 (1 sec PR π
“Any questions?” Nope, let’s just get after it. Way to work 5 am!! Thanks PJ!
WOD: 8:28.7
Beat my time by 32 seconds- pretty happy with my time
Mike gave some great tips that helped too
Great job everyone! Thanks Mike!
Nice different WOD for the day! Those figure 8βs make you think and work on coordination for sure!! Great work 6AMers and thanks Coach PJ!
Timed WOD – 9:11
2K Re-row 9:17 2 seconds off the first
Being sick during most of the challenge sucked. But it’s fine. I was hoping the re test would be better than it was but I am still not 100%. I will (maybe) try the 2k again in a month or so just to see how it goes. I think that having something like this for challenge WOD is great because it is “easy” to use as a benchmark for the future.
Seeing Kelly G walk through the door made my day! Not sure it made her day to walk in at 6 am…LOL All Stars make my day every DAY!
Thanks Coach PJ – teaching us new tricks is always a good time.
Loki is adorable. π
WOD: 7:24 (13 seconds off last time)
Figure 8s require some focus!
Great way to start the week. Thanks, Mike.
WOD: 7:11 (knocked off 8 seconds from 1/2/18). Correct/controlled pace is key.
Stayed with 35# on the new movement Figure 8.
Way to push through 9:30!
Thanks for the mid-row pointers Mike!
8:46 today compared to 9:01 on Jan 2nd… Not sure if that’s all that much better but it’s in the right direction so I’ll take it! Thanks CFRT!
WOD: 8:52.8
Shaved 3.5 seconds off my first try at this! I’m really happy I beat it considering I was dreading this WOD all day. I think I can do even better so I want to check in again in another few months. Thanks for this challenge guys!
First time trying figure 8’s so kept it very light with 18#. That move takes some brain power lol.
Thanks Phil, great job 4:30!!

Way to work 4:30 and thanks Phil!
WOD: 8:29
Shaved 22 seconds off my time and lived to tell of it.
