First Chelsea for me, so I did not know what to pace. At round 10 I switched from 5/10/15 to 3/6/9 because I did not want to switch again – but that left quite a bit in the tank the last 20 rounds. I probably should have switched to 4/8/12.
First Chelsea for me. The rep scheme was working till my arms got tired on the push ups. I kept the rep scheme and was only a few seconds off each round till the end. I stopped counting and kept moving.
Thanks Coach Chris – you kept watching and encouraging to make sure we were maintaining! The music definitely pushed me through – no time to dance but there was some laughs when we brought sexy back!
This rep scheme was perfect to go the distance. First time doing this so now have a base to see if I have enough in the tank to finish all 30 next time around.
Every round was under 30 seconds and my last round I was able to make my fastest at 37 seconds on clock aka 23 seconds….. I can’t wait to attempt do the full Monte!

Way to be smart! I always try to have some healthy carbs before a workout. Fuel For Fire, fruit (banana is my go-to), or rice cakes 30 min before a WOD up to right before class. Try 30 min out to start and see how you feel!
First day back from a 4 day vacation and of course we get the metcon! π I actually felt good on this one with all of our carbo loading and finished 30.

Man, I love this WOD! I was able to keep my rounds under 30 seconds the whole way through and I went unbroken on the pushups until the last round. Looking forward to trying 5-10-15 next time (or at least up the pull-ups and squats).
I had 14 air squats in at the buzzer!! I couldn’t squeeze another one!!! Push ups were 6+4 with about 5~10secs in between. I held it like that for 20 rds but eventually it blew up! That’s what I had today!

Consistently completing each round up to min 22 in around 30 seconds, towards the end 50 seconds. I was very conservative in rep scheme/movement choices but I know next time I can probably try some harder movements.
I did 3/6/9 with ring rows and knee push ups. Most rounds around 30 seconds if not under…they started creeping towards 35-40 seconds of work between rounds 20 and 30 but when I broke up the push ups, but sped up a bit towards the end. Definitely a mental battle on this one but I finished 30 rounds, so will have to adjust reps/movements for next time.
Oh, and I definitely did an extra push up in one of the early rounds. Started counting down from 6 after that!
I’m really late for this one but want it here for the next time around π I did 20 rounds with 3-6-9. I used one abmat to decrease ROM since my shoulders have been bothering me. The 20th minute i was really flailing on the push ups so I called it. I did it just right. The RR and squats were fine…I always felt like I was on the floor for the darn push ups.
