First, I have to give kudos to those of you that WOD in the middle/later in the day. This one was tough at 6am! HOT! HOT! HOT!
Nice easy 400m to start the day, except when half the class goes way beyond the marker – haha! I think they would have just kept on going if we didn’t yell for them to turnaround. Sometimes it’s helpful being at the back of the pack.

Ring rows and toe/knee pushups. After about the 5th round, I alternated rounds between toes and knees. After about the 10th round, I started moving from the rig area to in front of a fan for push-ups and squats. Lots of sore this week, so was planning to treat this as active recovery, but ended up doing more than expected (targeted 15 rounds).
Absolutely the best play list evuh! I more like danced over to the fans than ran π

Short-term goal is to get some kipping pull ups. Watching the others fly was inspiring.
If I go by reps ( 69 -> 80, 132 -> 157, and 198 -> 225 ) def improvement!! I tried to keep my pull ups to a standard – When I get tired I tend to get lax with the pull and my chin doesn’t quite make it over the bar. Felt like I accomplished that every round, so I am happy about that!
Yesterday I said, “I don’t think I can sweat any more than I did this morning!” I spoke too soon! You could wring out my shirt this morning – LOVE workouts like that!!
5am totally CRUSHED this one!! So awesome!! Plus, Justin serenaded us, I think that helped!!
I did half Cindy at home today! I thought I’d be able to do the whole thing but my nieces and nephews came over and interrupted haha
So in 10 minutes and 15 seconds I got through 8 +5
(First 6 rounds unmodified last 2 I did jumping pull ups and knee push ups)
I wouldn’t have been able to make any of the class times today but I wish I could have because I definitely push myself harder at the box than by myself at home…
Ohhh Cindy. HOT Cindy! Dropped in on the 430 class today since I got out of work early. Finished 13+15 today, ring rows and knee push ups. (April 2015 was 13 even, toe push ups with 2 ab mats.) Air squats usually slow me down, but they were pretty smooth today for the most part! Great work 430, thanks for keeping us motivated Kelly G!

My pull-ups are more efficient, never lost the push-ups (2-sets of 5) and air squats felt solid.
I was 15-20 lbs heavier in 2014 and about 5 weeks off of knee surgery in 2015 and didn’t have efficient, unbroken pull-ups for either.
Stay on it, Rail Trailers. Keep your data (post online, notebook, etc), trust the process & stay on the grind.
